I am working with a leading multinational company in the Oil and Gas Industry and due to expansion they are looking to hire a Talent Attraction and Development Specialist

Someone who will manage the development activities for the region to provide an adequate and continuous flow of qualified personnel. Implements development policies to ensure the best human resources for the company. Coordinates Recruiting & Selection activities in the region. Leads and coordinates training activities for the Region in compliance with global guidelines

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the implementation of career plans in the Region by relating current personnel with defined key positions
  • Ensures the development of key personnel
  • Plan & execute the regional Talent attraction plan in line with the Budget
  • Identifying the best talents, following all the legal aspects and procedures/approvals and supporting with effective on-boarding plans
  • Establishes relationships with universities and technical colleges
  • Oversee the Performance Appraisal Process
  • Ensures timely launching, and compliance with each step of the processes
  • Advises, trains, and follows up with management and employees until completion of process
  • Coordinates the Talent Management in the Region by monitoring the talent pool, identifying and forecasting open positions, and analyzing and proposing transfers and promotions
  • Performs People review process
  • Creates succession plan for key positions
  • Conducts Career Counseling sessions with Key Talent Reporting Key Performance Indicators related to staffing, development and training Supports with Employees Engagement/ Drive/Motivation
  • Deploy Employee Opinion Survey and contributes to creating action plan for improvement Coordinates design and execution of Internship Program
  • Leads training plan for the region
  • Assesses training needs for employees
  • Responsible for training budget, and executing plan
  • Responsible for training and qualification/certification for operators in the industrial facility Complies with policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility
  • Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures


  • To be considered for this role you need to have the following key requirements:
  • Around 5 to 8 years of relevant HR experience in Recruitment, Talent Attraction, people development, succession planning and Training
  • HR Degree or CIPD qualification would be advantageous
  • Multinational Company experience
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry or similar is highly desirable
  • Be able to travel easily within the Middle East and North Africa
  • Currently residing in the UAE
