Sheikh Hamden bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council announced a freeze on school fees for all private schools in Dubai and has instructed the KHDA to put the decision into immediate effect.
With salaries dropping and many families feeling the pinch this decision has been met with support by parents around the city.
Schools are also responding favourably to the decision to reduce the financial burden on parents and keen to reassure parents that standards will remain as high as ever;
Adam Williamson, Director of Education for Kings’ Schools says that they fully support the decision and told parents ‘…. Kings’ will work extremely hard within our existing budgets to ensure that there will be no negative impact on our provision, or on our commitment to new developments and initiatives’
