Senior Sales Manager, Kazakhstan – Oil & Gas

We are recruiting for a Senior Sales Manager to join a for a very reputable multi-national company that specializes in providing products and services to the world’s oil & gas and energy sectors

This is a permanent position based in Aktau, offering a competitive salary, benefits and career progression

Main Responsibilities:

  • Defines the sales strategy and business plan supporting product pricing according to technical specifications and production costs
  • Guarantees the implementation of commercial strategies and business plan defined by the Business Unit
  • Develops technical and commercial customer relationships according to strategies and business plan defined by the Business Unit
  • Develops new business strategies providing input into product development process
  • Assists in the development of new products and service opportunities
  • Complies with the company policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility
  • To participate in HSE objectives setting, define and implement programs and actions applicable to the area of responsibility for continual improvement of HSE performance
  • Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area

Skill Requirements:

  • Previous Sales experience of at least 8-10 years
  • Strong knowledge of oil & gas companies in the region
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy, business and commercial planning, budgeting, priority setting
  • Ability to understand and transmit client needs
  • Active listening
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels and in a multicultural environment (both written and verbal)
  • Fluent in English (Written & verbal)
  • Pro-activeness, strategic and analytical thinking
  • Strong negotiation and influential skills
  • Networking – capacity to build external and internal networks
